Fangshadow transformed into her dragon form, the cutlass blade becoming the ending of her tail as she took a position similar to Starblaze. She growled, baring poison-tipped fangs that grew to be level with her shoulders.

"Finding your base...you really believe my systems are that out of date? Being one of Spiritimus's aids, I'd think at least you know better to ask my way around on this forsaken planet" Starscream scowled. Taking his blade in a fighters stance, matching Starblaze's actions, he continued to eye the dragon, other than attack head on. "Why has Spiritimus returned. She knows' Megatron will be here soon once he gets the news."

Starblaze frowned, her menacing growl growing louder by the second. She edged a little closer towards Starscream, furying boiling at the back of her mind. She was about to pounce when her comm. link went off, signalling her to answer it. She obeyed and lowered her head, knowing exactly who she was talking to.
"It's alright, Starblaze," Spiritimus' gentle voice spoke through. "Just tell them what I've told you. I know perfectly well of the danger I will be in the moment Megatron gets wind of this. If I know Starscream well enough, he will not be telling much to Megatron."
Starblaze sighed again and lifted her head. "Spiritimus returned because she feels that it is time to take back what rightfully belongs to the Autobots. To answer truthfully, Starscream, she never told me the full reason why we're here. She's acting differently, she's not herself anymore. The years of being away from her own kind has changed her."
She then turned her head away a bit, but kept her optics firmly on Starscream in case he tried to attack her from behind. "Time has changed her, Starscream. She's no longer the open-minded leader we've come to know and understand. She's different now. She's more aggressive, and more willing to fight for the cause of her people. You know just as well as I do that something is amiss. She knows that something is going to happen very soon. She knows that the Matrix is on to something. It has told her something that neither of us can understand."
Who was she kidding? Starblaze felt ridiculous about this, but what else was there to say about what Spiritimus told her? She didn't know and the only thing that could ease off the tension of the discomfort was to speak her mind.
"I don't want to fight you, Starscream," she said softly. "I only came here to escort these two back to base. All I ask from you is that you let us go peacefully and there will be no fight between us for the rest of the day. Spiritimus is uneasy and we've had a long trip to get here. Even I have been weakened by the journey to escort my leader here. I may not be at my full strength, but you'll get a challenge from me if you dare to attack us without warning." She edged a little further towards them to show she was not to be provoked.
The blue and white bot lifted an optic ridge in puzzlement. Was it just him, or did Starblaze say that his niece had changed over the years of her absence? He'd have no choice but to get in there and stop Starblaze from saying anymore, but then he'd heard the transmission from Spiritimus as she gave permission to her vice commander to tell Starscream what she'd been told. Was this femme crazy? What if Spiritimus had actually found the location of his brother? Even if she had, she sure was not going out there looking for him. Why wasn't she? If she knew where he was, then why wasn't she looking for him herself? Some leader she turned out to be. Seems like it's time for me to step in now, he thought to himself. He prepared himself to go down there and help out his comrades when he suddenly felt the need to stay put. What was wrong with him? He was an Autobot for Primus's Sake! He was supposed to be helping them out! The hesitation was driving him insane. He was about to try and go down there again when he received a transmission from someone. "Rodimus Prime to Ultra Magnus. Are you there, Ultra Magnus?" Not willing to ignore the comm. link, Ulta Magnus answered it in a flash. "Ultra Magnus here. What is it, Rodimus?" "I'm heading back to Autobot Base with a friend," Rodimus replied. "However, I've got a couple of Decepticons hot on our tails and we need an escort. Think you can do that?" Ultra Magnus sighed and mentally nodded. "Alright, buddy, I'm heading over to your coordinates. I'll be seeing you in a couple of Earth minutes." "Right, thanks, Magnus. I'll see you soon. Rodimus Prime out." With the comm. link down, Ultra Magnus gazed down at the faceoff between his comrades and their enemies. He knew that Spiritimus was expecting him to arrive at the base, but he never told him when he was coming. He smirked and shook his head. "You're so much like my brother, Spiritimus. But I wonder who's aggressive side you've got." Shaking his head again, he then bolted for the coordinates that he had picked up from Rodimus Prime. He knew that Spiritimus would be annoyed, but he was a free agent. He never followed orders, he preferred requests. And his coming had been an order. Yeah right! As if he was coming right away. A comrade's safety was more important than the news she was going to give. "A little trip couldn't hurt," he said to himself. With that said, he turned and ran off without a glance over his shoulder. He knew that Starblaze could handle herself. She may not be at full strength, but she could still be a formiddable opponent if she chose to.

Starscream stood for a moment, still taking in the thought of Spiritimus being back. True, his stay and aide with the Autobots was short, but he took a liking to their methods. And when Spiritimus took over Optimus's heavy load, the tension was less and less, and more peace was among them. Until Megatron sent wave after wave in his army to reclaim Starscream, and devour the Autobots despite. It was this thought that Starscream regretted what he had just done. His lengthy arms shaking a small proportion, he lifted a small piece of armor from his right arm, and dashed in two or three buttons. Afterward, he shut the compartment and stared at the dragon yet again. "I see. So shes' changed. A shame to you Autobots. But, not my problem" he scoffed. Looking at Fangshadow, he replaced his blade to his wing, and stood as no threat to the three enemies that stood in front of him. He didn't have to threat. Why should he waste his time and engage, just to be punished by his leader in just a few minutes. Why so sudden? Because he heard the conversation. From the very first sentence that leaked the crimson seekers' mounth, asking Spiritimus's whereabouts.

Fangshadow put her blade at ease, but didn't relax. She still wasn't used to being enemies with Autobots or Maximals, but she wouldn't let her guard down either way.

Talon had sunken into a sort of tense depression, digits loosening on the handle of her gun until it almost dropped. She understood that Starscream wouldn't attack them without a reason, but the fact that he was here in the first place meant something. Megatron would get word of Spirit Prime soon enough and things would go back to the way they were. Come to think of it, such a situation really was inevitable all along. Talon had seen it heading this way like a comet, so why was it affecting her so negatively?
Either way, she refused to show aggression toward a mech she once considered a friend, however faint the extent of their relationship had been. Turning to the larger dragon with a serious frown Scavenger would have been proud of, Talon shook her head.
"Don't, Starblaze. It'll only make things worse. If he wanted to kill us he would have done so already. There's no point in showing aggression. Best to save that for later...when Megatron returns." she spoke in a cold yet sad tone that trailed off at the end with a regretful hiss. The femme clearly didn't like where this was going.
"Please..." she continued, "Get Cypher back to the base. I'll make sure he doesn't follow."

Starblaze frowned the moment Talon spoke her words. Normally she would never follow orders from anyone that was lower ranked than her. She emitted a growl that deeply vibrated her chest.
"Very well," she said softly, but she took a couple of steps closer to Talon, her golden optics boring holes into her. "But if you ever overstep your line of rank again, I will not hesitate to remove you of your position. As Second in Command of the United Heroes, I have authority when neither Jetfire or Spiritimus are around. Are we clear on that soldier?"
"Starblaze, you will do well to keep your comments to yourself," Spiritimus spoke through the comm. link sternly. "You may have authority at the moment, but you have forgotten that it is I who will make the decisions of whether or not to strictly remove Talon of her position. You should not overstep your boundries. Talon is right. Now that Starscream is no longer a threat, there are to be no aggressive hassles. Megatron will get wind of my return sooner or later, and I have a feeling that Starscream may have informed him about me. Now, return to base the both of you. That is an order. Spiritimus Prime out."
Starblaze rolled her optics, but she knew better than to argue with her commander. She offered a silent apology to Talon, but then approached Cypher and lay down beside him with her back facing him. It was her way of her offering him to ride on her back so that she could carry him back to base for medical repairs.
"Climb on," she rumbled quietly.

Talon's expression had gotten more than a little irritated when Starblaze accused her over stepping her rank. Clearly these United Heros must have been isolated from other Autobots for a quite while or else the dragon wouldn't have acted that way towards a comrade, even if they were of lower rank.
Keeping herself together, the grey femme carefully pulled Cypher onto the other's back then braced an arm against him so he wouldn't fall off.
Talon gave Starscream a small but respectful nod, letting him know they were leaving.

Starscream simply nodded back to Talon, but his expression showed much more. It showed fear. And as his radar picked up the deathen signal he despised, he only grimaced. Slowly, the large portal of mixture black and purple texture began to form behind the seeker, unlocking the dimension realm. The large figure stood as a silhouette until he was finally formed and through the portal, the large purple spikes at his shoulders almost at a nonstop cycle of electricity. A dark smirk appeared on the triple-changers face. "And so shes' back. Your efforts will be...rewarded, for once, Starscream" Megatron chimed, arms crossed upon his chest.

Fangshadow was slightly startled as Megatron appeared, but composed herself. She nodded respectfully, taking a step back to give the two mechs room.

Starblaze winced and took a slow step back, her body shaking underneath her heavy armour. "You... you fiend," she growled at Starscream as she glared icy cold daggers at him. She couldn't fight at a time like this. She was far too weak, and unble to hold her own up against such a threat. Heck, Spiritimus would have her head if she couldn't keep Megatron away from these two.
"I don't know how you heard us in, you slagger!" she spat, "But you won't be seeing Spiritimus for a little while! Give us a rest!" She took a step forward, her growls low and dangerous. "Get out of here, or I will have no choice but to use force!"
"Stand down, Starblaze!" a deep feminine voice bellowed. "You know that you are not at full strength to take down Megatron. Only I am able to hold him off without any assistance. Now get Talon and Cyhper back into base while I fight him. That's an order from your commander!"
Starblaze whirled towards the voice and her jaw dropped at the sight of her commander. "Spiritimus, Ma'am, what are you doing here?" she questioned. "You can't fight him!"
Standing on top of a rocky outcrop was a navy blue, sky blue, and silver femme. Her wings were spread out to give her an imposing posture that would consider her as a threat. Her optics were squinting with unmentionable emotions while her tail was twitching violently, kicking up dust in its wake, and her sky blue battle mask was covering up the bottom half of her face to give it protection.
"I can, and I must fight him, Starblaze," Spiritimus Prime told her Vice Commander. "Now get back inside, or I will force you to, and you know that I don't like doing that."

"Force... I'd like to see this" Megatron squinted back at the dragonness, until Spiritimus arrived. His grin only grew. "So, Spiritimus Prime. Where is your father. Or has he not recovered from the scrap pit?" he questioned, almost chuckling at the end of his sentence. He unfolded his arms and laid them by his side with ease. "And you can thank Starscream for your whereabouts." Starscream winced as he was bluntly put to blame. Not moving, he only lowered his head. What had he done... He should have stayed low and let Megatron find out for himself. But orders, was orders. Measures were limitless.

Fangshadow hissed as the navy dragoness appeared, spreading her own wings, which came close to hitting Starscream. Her venom returned, and she growled low, causing her chestplate to vibrate.
