Sitting in the palms of the original holder of the Matrix, Ryan wanted to apologize yet again for what he had done. But he knew at some point, Optimus would become annoyed with such. Each reply he gave him was the same, that everyone makes mistakes. However the thought of being the one that gave the downfall to the Autobots, it shook the human out of his wits.
"Ryan?" a small voice chirped ahead. Lifting his blacken hair from his swollen eyes, he found down the hall plenty of familiar faces. Blazestorm, Talon, Alexis and- a Decepticon? "Alexis are you crazy?! Get off him! What on Earth are you doing bringing a Con in the base?! I just did that!!!" he panicked, crawling quickly to the edge of Optimus's metallic fingers, almost falling off.
Standing behind the dragon femme, Starscream could only scowl at the small human, annoyed as he automatically came up with conclusions. "What do you mean, you just did that?" Alexis asked worriedly, no needing to raise her voice at this point as the ground stood almost face to face now. Spotting Tracker and others, she gave a small smile of greeting before returning her stare to Ryan, confused.

Leohawk bowed his head in greeting towards Alexis and the others. He was glad that someone had managed to keep Blazestorm out of trouble while he and the other United Heroes discussed about other methods that were out of their hands for the time being. However, when he saw Starscream he was quick to bring out his swords and prepared to leap into action should Optimus call for it. His muscle cables twitched and his lion tail thrashed like a snake trapped in a knot. "What is this Decepticon doing here?" he asked as he glared at Starscream.
"All of you, calm down!" Optimus belowed just loud enough to silence everyone. "Whatever Starscream's reason for being here I am sure that you, Alexis and Blazestorm, have a good explanation." He glanced down at Ryan as he quickly reacted by pulling him back and gently reassured him by rubbing his back once again to calm him down. He understood why the boy was so jumpy but he decided to not say anything to conclude what his thoughts were. He then returned his attention to Starscream and the others. "Ryan, there is nothing to be afraid of," he said softly. "Starscream is different compared to most of the Decepticons you have seen. I cannot say how, but you will just have to trust my judgement on him." When he heard Alexis ask about what Ryan meant, Optimus sighed. It was not his business to tell the others what had happened nor was it his place to even say so. Ryan just had to have enough courage to admit to the world himself about what had happened. "It's alright, Ryan," he said. "I'm right here if you need me."
Blazestorm decided to back away, not glancing over at any of the others. She had a lot on her mind, and she would rather be out of everyone's way rather than be here to talk. She still had to apologise to the other United Heroes for her behaviour and she reckoned Leohawk and Spiritimus would agree with her anyway. "Starscream has something to say," she said simply and quickly closed herself up before anyone noticed.
Ultra Magnus was very surprised to see Blazestorm standing beside Alexis. It seemed like the female human had actually pulled something off, something that he had trouble with. He couldn't help but smile with graititude towards Alexis. He decided he would thank her personally a little later when no one else was around. He frowned at the mention of Ryan's interaction with the Decepticon, Faye, but he said nothing. He would rather not say 'I told you so' when the boy was suffering enough. He just hoped that Optimus would really go easy on him. He had been punished enough already by the betrayal and he didn't need anymore.

Tracker stood where he was not making any sudden movements. if a decepticon was here then there must be a good reason for it, specially surrounded by autobots. he learned not to make assumptions on bots, less it ruined any reasoning that could be made. reaper just watched with a bored expression. so this was a decepticon

At the sight of Leohawk bringing out his sword, Starscream was quick to react with his aswell, however his expression was not of fight, but small panic. Though at the reassurance of Optimus, he simply replaced the sword back to his wing without another movement, not wanting to blow his chance. Until he was called forth, he would remain a simple stool for Alexis. He decided it had been best not to interfere with any Autobot casualties. "I...Faye..he..." Ryan bitterly spoke, trying to place his words together. But he didn't need to. Alexis was quick to catch on. "So he really was bad news..." she sighed, then shook her head. "Faye...?" Starscream peeped, the cyborg a very familiar ally to his base. "Yeah...wait... you're a Decepticon- you can get to him- You need to get the data from him! He took the data and we need it back!" Ryan hastily begged, demanded, whichever was best for words of panic. But Starscream couldn't do much more than shake his head in annoyance. "If he has already left your base, he is already on the Moon and extracting whatever he took, whatever reason he was here for. I can honestly say that I have no explanation of why he was sent here." "So...wait... a human, on the moon?" Alexis questioned, her amusement raising. "Since when did Megatron accept humans? And how are they living there?" "Well they're not human...I don't think... he mentioned something, Faye... a Yevon" Ryan clued it, then looked over to Reaper-6 with a small frown. "Hes' one, too. But hes' not a Decepticon."

Reaper stared back at Ryan "he's a cyborg....i'm an experiment...hmmhmm" he caught his breath and looked at the newcomers "as of yet...i...share no......to either side"

Optimus frowned a little as the discussion between Starscream, Alexis, and Ryan continued until the interruption of Reaper was sounded off. He glanced down, but said nothing to interrupt what was to be said. His infinite patience would be rewarded soon enough when they were done talking. From the corner of his optics, he noticed Blazestorm staring off into an unknown world. He knew Ultra Magnus and Alexis had spoken to the young femme, and even knew that she was on a collision course with her personality. The tempermental side of herself and the quiet, anti-social side that always went into a withdrawn state. 'Hopefully another chat with her from Spiritimus or myself will help,' he thought as he returned his attention back onto the rest of the group. He was not one to interrupt a conversation, but because Starscream was here, he knew that he had to cut straight down to the point for the reason of the crimson seeker's visit to the base. "I do not mean to interrupt you three, but in order to sort this matter out, we need to know both the reason for Faye's intentions of stealing our data as well as your reason for your visit, Starscream. I can tell that this is not to get acquainted with us again." Without warning, Optimus twitched a muscle cable in his left cheek. His head then spasmed a little violently, but he was quick to settle the matter by concentrating on what was in front of him and not on the twitching that had just occurred.
Ultra Magnus had just noticed the violent twitching in Optimus' facial features, as well as the slight twist in his neck. He knew something was up, and he knew that it had something to do with whatever happened through the link between himseld and Spiritimus. "Is there something wrong?" he asked a little rudely. He didn't mean to sound rude, but how else was he going to get his brother's attention when he just had an unknown seizure that was barely noticeable. "Is it Spiritimus or is it something else?"
"Nephthys," was all Leohawk breathed when he noticed Optimus' twitching. "He's in a negative mood. Whatever it is, it cannot be good for both Spiritimus, Rodimus and Optimus. And I'm not talking about just the three Primes." He glanced over at the rest of the other Autobots and Starscream, his scarred face filled with concern and worry.

"i don't think Faye's reason for the data is too hard to figure out really." tracker replied, he was concered about the spasm optimus had, but if it had to do with the connection then there wasn't much he could do. "it is as the say, knowledge is power, with whatever data hes got, he could have access codes, map layouts, and information on the autobots here, there strengths and weakness', and even any data he didn't take from the syste, there is what hes seen. the current condition of us and the base, *sigh* which would leave us at a bit of a disadvantage." he held his chin, a serious look on his face "but i doubt he'll have gotten information on any new bots, like myself, which could give us an advantage, and codes can be changed, we'll just have to be prepared for an attack, whenever it comes" he smiled slightly

At the mention of Nephthys, Starscream could only feel a small vibe go down his processor, the worried sake of Len digging into his mainframe. "As I said. Why Faye was settled here, I do not know. I was uninformed of this. But the reason I come here is to warn you... Optimus" the seeker concluded. Along sitting in one of the turbines, Alexis looked at the worried orange optics in even more curiosity. "It is rumored that Unicron is being reconstructed. Sideways has been prancing around the base saying nothing more of it. It will be usual that noone accepts his warning but... if we recall of what happened last time... He may be a prankster, but his Master is not one." Staring at Optimus and the other Autobots with an icy stare, Starscream couldn't help but feel...trapped. Now that the Autobots know the news, and the addition of Megatrons' soon-to-be attack, Megatron would find out himself of what the seeker did, and be very, very angry. Not to mention the eerie sound of Unicrons' arrival once proof is given. Its' like simple history being repeated.

Cursing in Cybertronian so that none of the humans present could understand what he was saying, Optimus turned his head away and scowled at the thought of what Megatron had planned the rumours about Unicron's return. He could've sworn that the Chaos-Bringer had been vanquished, dealt with, out of this world forever. But it seemed like it had not been enough. To him, history really had decided to repeat itself. Were the Transformers' race meant to remain doomed to be eaten alive by the God of Darkness? Would they ever be able to live in peace or were they never meant to have any perfect harmony? "It seems," he said softly as his lips twitched, "that we're about to face a threat like no other. While we have faced Unicron before in the past, we may be in for the fight of our lives." Optimus couldn't help but lower his head as he thought this over carefully. Why did everything all have to decided upon his word? Why did everyone always have to give up their lives for nothing with their sacrifices always being in vain? Sometimes, things just had to happen out of their own accord.
Ultra Magnus glanced from Starscream to Optimus, and then back to Starscream again. It seemed like no one was ever going to get a chance at peace. Without such possiblities, it seemed like everything they had fought so hard to keep alive, ranging from friendships to family, was about to go downhill from the saddening news they had heard from the red and white mech himself. He wasn't sure what to say, but he could tell his brother was under a lot of pressure at the moment. Still, he decided to not say anything that would cause a disruption in the ranks that he had once again become part of. No longer was it all just rainbows and butterflies with hope and peace, this was a matter of survival for all the species that dwelled within this galaxy and the ones beyond. "What do we do?" he finally asked. "Should we just try to reason with Megatron or is it too late for that?"
Optimus lifted his head and gazed into his brother's optics, trying to think of something but he was powerless to think of anything. Without the Matrix in his position to provide him and his Autobots guidence in their darkest hour that was going to be set upon them, he did not have the infinite wisdom he was so legendary for besides his compassionate side for those who were unable to defend themselves. "I do believe," he said quietly, "it's too late for reasoning. I do not know what Megatron's plans are, but something tells me he will try to attack us while our guard is lowered, depending on what happens with us. Megatron almost seems to be... out of reach of talking... In truth, I do not know what we can do." He placed Ryan on his left shoulder and let the young human adjust himself until he was comfortable with his position. "Without the Matrix of Leadership, I do not possess the Wisdom of the Ages that had helped me guide all of us in the past. The only thing we can do is wait until Rodimus' return. He has hold of the Matrix and I am having difficulty in contacting him. He is either blocking my communications, he's too exhausted to talk, or he's pressumed dead. I am not fearing the worst, but I am keeping my servos crossed for his safety." As soon as Optimus had stopped speaking, the massive wave of negative emotions from Nephthys came out of nowhere and hit the Autobot commander square in the head like a tonne of bricks colliding with his face head on. He staggered left and right, grabbed his head and dropped to his knees while moaning in pain. In his state of pain, he had been quick to dislodge Ryan from his shoulder by quickly handing him over to Ultra Magnus to prevent him from falling ontop of the boy and possibly killing him underneath his heavy weight in the process of the seizure.

In a small fret of how quickly he was given to the lessen blue mech, Ryan stared at Optimus in panic, unable to find what was going on. Alexis was in the same perdictament, Starscream quick to place her on the ground and rush to the Autobot Leaders' aide. He placed one of his black metallic hands at his shoulder, while setting the other on his upper body, trying to hoist him up from being completely crumpled to the ground. "Whats' going on with him!?" Alexis panicked. "...Nephthys and the Primes are bound due to Megatrons' cloning of a Prime spark. Something must be happening on moonbase..." Another jolt of fear ached his receptors as the thought of Len being injured under the demon dragons' footing. He couldn't stand the thought. And with that, he had to get back to base soon.

Slowly, Optimus felt the pain diminish but it was still there. Small, but not enough to prevent him from getting up again. Aided by his companions and Starscream, he stood back up, his head lowered and his breathing heavily laboured. He placed a hand on his head to try and soothe the discomfort that was at the back of his mind. Now that he standing up on his own again, he could only stagger a bit, but he was quick to recover. Somehow, the slight pain was nothing but a mild discomfort that had become dormant. He had a feeling that Nephthys' rage had died down but was still trying to prevent his temper from getting out of hand again. "I'm alright," Optimus said, "Nephthys is calmer, but I can sense he is trying not to lose himself again. Something tells me that he had an issue with someone and is trying to go onto solving matters to prevent further conflict." He glanced over to Starscream and Tracker, his optics requesting that they let him go. He was alright, but for how long, he wasn't sure.
Ultra Magnus had only stood aside to let both Starscream and Tracker through to aide his brother. He could sense his brother's worry about the seizure and his wonder on how it had affected Spiritimus. He could've sworn that he had heard her cry out in pain, but had been muffled by Optimus' own cries of pain. He glanced in the direction of the Medbay, trying to decide on whether or not he should go and check up on her to see how she was doing. He was about to make his choice when he sensed Optimus brushing his mind with his own through their brotherly bond. Slag! He had forgotten to close off the link during the seizure because he had been worried about what was going on. How could he have been so stupid? Now his brother had sensed everything that he had thought and was trying to comfort him. Magnus resisted the touch and pushed Optimus back to prevent him from going any deeper into their link. 'Back off, Optimus!' he snarled. 'I do not need your pity!' 'You are still upset about the Matrix choosing me.' Ultra Magnus sensed that it was not a question. It had been a statement. He pushed Optimus back again as the tension inside his chest began to grow. The pressure was building, but he refrained from lashing out or even physically hurting his brother. Just before he completely closed off the link again to prevent Optimus from knowing any more, he gave him a cold stare. 'You know that as well as I do, Optimus,' he said softly. 'Every time I try and do something, it always backfires. I may have returned to help you out, but you and I can never be close like we used to back in our youngling days. You hurt me, Optimus, and you know that. If you contact me through this link again, I will have no choice but to exterminate you in front of your Autobots.' 'I understand, brother,' Optimus whispered gently. 'But if I really need you, will you listen to me? There are times when I miss you. Drifting through space half dead was one of them.' But before Ultra Magnus could give his answer or ask what Optimus meant and why he still called him brother, Optimus retreated from their link. Determined to not put anymore pressure, Magnus closed off the link. He had a feeling his brother was not going to stop at trying to repair their brotherhood, and would be willing to give him his space until the next time they talked. 'We'll see, Optimus,' he thought. 'We'll see.'
Glad that the seizure was over, Leohawk glanced over at Starscream and then back at Optimus to check to see if he was alright. Suddenly, he remembered Spiritimus and turned to Optimus, his silver optics full of panic. "Permission to go and check up on Spiritimus with Ultra Magnus and Blazestorm, sir," he requested.
Optimus glanced up in surprise. He had almost forgotten about Spiritimus. During that seizure, everything had all been a blur. His vision had become hazy and his mind clouded like a fog over the mountains. He hoped she was alright. "Permission granted, Leohawk."
Leohawk nodded his appreciation and he bolted for the Medbay with Blazestorm and Ultra Magnus hot on his taloned heels.

As the three disappeared down the halls, Starscream backed up as he released Optimus to his full stand once more. "I should go. I have my own worries upon Moonbase that I must assist in before Unicron becomes any closer. This is your warning Optimus...Megatron would have never gave it to you. Use it to your best advantage." Placing Alexis down on the ground, she walked over and stood by Ryan, who was now on the ground aswell when Ultra Magnus dismissed himself. Pitiful blue eyes, she looked up at the seeker in worry. "Do you have to go?" The crimson only nodded, then turned his back to make his way down the opposite hall, his way out and back into the blue skies.

Talon slowly approached Quickdeal. She didn't see him, but she knew he was there and so had managed to tug her machine gun out of her subspace and into her poised hands. One digit lingered on the trigger as the femme took a low stance and cautiously stalked closer and closer, hoping that she could catch him off guard and not the other way around.
She was aware of the conversation up above, but she didn't hear all of it, although it seemed that something serious was happening. All the more reason for her to take care of this quickly so she could offer her assistance.
