Rodimus couldn't help but smile at his friend. There was still a lot about her that he didn't know much about. He came to a decision that he would eventually learn more about her as time went by. He even came down to a realisation that she was almost as stubborn as he was. Perhaps in her own unique way, she probably had to be the most stubborn human he had ever met besides Alexis and her best friends, Rad, Carlos, Billy, Fred, Lori, Coby, and Bud.
Still, Rodimus should do exactly what she said. If she went to go to reassure his friends that the fire was out and that he was returning home to get some rest, then that was fine with him, as long as she dropped by to see him so that he would be sure that she was safe from anything. After all, he was her guardian now all thanks to Ultra Magnus.
Shaking his head a bit, Rodimus transformed back to his vehicle mode, reattached to his trailer and slowly sped off for the base. He was far too tired and aching to really bother much, but he was still determined to avoid hitting anything that got in his way of his wheels.
"I'll see you when you get back," he muttered under his breath to Moonshriek. He had a feeling she may have heard him, but if she didn't, then he could guarantee that he would be waiting on his berth but not sleeping his exhaustion away. He would rather have her for company rather than be alone. He had, after all, been alone for quite a while since Spiritimus had left, and he was determined to upgrade his social skills.
