She didn't know how long she had flown, but everything was passing by her optics in a whirling blur. She was dazed and confused by what she was doing and wondering why she was running from the base. Blazestorm wasn't leaving the base, she just wanted to get away for a while until she had cooled off, but she doubted that it would happen overnight. The silver and red femme flew out from the cave's entrance and her talons latched onto the face of the rocky cliff where most of her friends would perch high above and watch the sunset or take it upon themselves to glance over at the human town in curiosity or wonder what the humans were up to at night. Blazestorm emitted a hiss of fury as her tail lashed out like a whip, smashing a rock and sending it crashing to the far ground below. It was a long way down, but she didn't care at all. All she wanted, more than anything in the world, was to get away from everyone. None of the Autobots understood what it was like, to have a childish mind but still act all adultlike at any time and have unpredictable mood swings at the same time. She knew her temper was a lot dangerous than Megatron's own rage combined with Starscream's firepower, but it was becoming harder and harder to control. The more she tried to hold it back when some tried to push the right buttons, the more she realised that she was starting to lose what was left of her sanity. "Primus," she whispered softly as she lowered her dragon head and pressed her cheek firmly against the wall, "why me? Why am I so different? Why can't I be like anyone else?" Slowly, the normally bad-tempered femme let loose a small tear from her blue optics. She had never felt this isolated since the day she was created by the Decepticons as an attempt to destroy the United Heroes. If it weren't for Spiritimus's kind words and actions, the young femme would still be in Decepticon clutches and be released upon the Autobots as a weapon. "Why...?" she whimpered again as she began her steep climb to the top of the cliff. She made it and curled up into a ball by tucking her head underneath her wings in the hopes of hiding from the world that just regarded her as a freak. Without thinking, in her loneliness and confusion, she let loose a loud roar of anguish. She didn't care if the humans or her Autobot comrades heard her, she just wanted to get the pain off her chest. She was in far too much despair and hurt to even care at all.

Ultra Magnus had wisely disappeared the moment Optimus had been brought back inside the base. He didn't want to face his brother and welcome him home. True he had missed him, but he would never admit it to him at all. He was far too proud and arrogant to even say such a thing, not even a 'I love you little brother'. All it ever did was make him feel weak and vulnerable to who he really was and what he had gained over the many years of being a loner. Still, the thought of going inside to just say hello was possible, but he would rather spend alone time with himself and think about what had happened in under a short period of time. Nevertheless, he was mentally glad that Optimus was back and he decided that he go and see him and his niece a little later, but right now, the time to be alone was at his hand. Nothing more nothing less. Ultra Magnus jumped at the mournful roar he had heard above him. Glancing up, he spotted what he believed was a red and silver dragon. There was one dragon in the world that was that colour, but he wondered what she was doing up there and making a lot of noise that might draw attention to the base and herself. "Foolish femme," he growled as he placed his machine gun back into his subspace pocket and began his trek up the mountain. There were times when he wished he was a flyer, and this moment counted as one of them. "What's gotten you so upset?"

Blazestorm had noticed Ultra Magnus climbing towards her. Instead of meeting him head on like she normally did with everyone else, she chose to move backwards until her right side was pressed firmly against the rocky wall. She only did this when she felt cornerned, and this was one of those rare moments when she felt threatened and would carry it out by snapping and biting at anyone who dared to come too close if they always ignored her warning of her body language. However, since she was so far away from the edge, and Ultra Magnus could not see her, there would be no time for him to see her warning and she would be able to strike if he managed to reach the top. But perhaps she could give him a chance and ask him what he wanted with her, but she was still on the verge to wanting to kill him by knocking him off the cliff by the time he reached her. But, the thought of finding out what he wanted overpowered her foul-tempered mood, so she decided that she would find out what the blue and white mech wanted and then attack him later when she had gotten her answer. "What do you want, Magnus?" she hissed as the twin brother of Optimus Prime climbed up and squinted his golden optics at her for being so arrogant and speaking to him like as if he was some wannabe.
"What do I want?" Ultra Magnus asked. He shook his head and snorted. "I came here to find out why you're up here all by your lonesome self. You shouldn't be up here unless you have the permission of Jetfire, Spiritimus, Rodimus, or Optimus, depending on who is in charge of the Autobot base." When he picked himself off the ground and continued to stare icy daggers into the blue optics of the red and silver femme, he soon saw the body language of Blazestorm. She had her back pressed against the wall, was staring firecely at him, and she had her legs tucked firmly against her chest and the sides of her body, like as if she was preparing to attack him at any moment. "You ran away from a fight between one of your friends didn't you." It was no question. It was more of 'I know what you do' kind of speech.
Blazestorm hissed at Ultra Magnus again. Her body bristling like a cat fluffing itself up when it felt threatened or annoyed by something or someone. "What do you know that I don't?" she spat as her tail lashed out like a whip, the tip missing Magnus's crossed up arms. "You know so much, but you still say like as if you just to know the damn truth! What right do you have to poke your nose into my business? I don't care about getting permission from the leaders, all I want to do is get away from everybody, and that includes you!"
"I know that you're still blaming yourself from what had happened to Spiritimus," Ultra Magnus replied as he shrugged his shoulders, acting like he didn't care about the theory on what he had known. But, deep down, he did care, but just refused to admit it just like Blazestorm. "You're also fighting with your team-mates by getting angry all the time and thinking that they may scrap you for being so poorly designed in the mind and being an experiment of the Decepticons."

Walking outside the base, it didn't take Alexis long to stumble upon Ultra Magnus's location. Her eyes guiding around, she stopped him, and a much larger dragon, placed upon a cliff. Knowing her voice would do little to nothing from the distance, she began her sprint. She just hoped that they wouldn't disappear by time she got there.

Blazestorm rushed at Ultra Magnus, but to her surprise, he kept perfectly still as her red nose stopped a mere human inch from his face. She emitted a growl of fury as her blue optics bore holes deeply into into his golden ones like fire piercing through the forest at an alarming rate. She was determined to not lose her cool in front of Optimus's brother, but it was becoming harder and harder to not snap and kill him. But the teachings of controlling herself from Spiritimus was never too far behind and she felt her body shiver uncontrollably as she backed away, watching his every move just to protect herself. When she was back in her original spot with her back once again placed firmly against the rocky wall, she bared her fangs at him and snarled horribly. "Why can't you just leave me alone?" she growled. "You should know better than to talk to a glitchhead who cannot get a thing right in her miserable life!"
Ultra Magnus removed himself from his still position and walked up beside Blazestorm. To his surprise, she had transformed back to her bipedal form and had curled up into a ball with her tail wrapped firmly around her legs and had her head buried in her legs as an act of protecting herself. He heard her mumble something, but he dared to not pressure her into repeating what she had just said. Instead, he sat down beside her and shifted his gaze over to the sun where it was high in the sky. "You're not a glitchhead, Blaze," he said after a short while. "You're just different from the rest of us. However, I don't see it as a curse."
Blazestorm lifted her head and looked at the blue and white mech curiously. "What do you mean you don't see it as a curse?" she grumbled. "Look at me! I am a sparkling trapped in the body of an adult femme! You think this isn't a curse?"
Ultra Magnus sighed and gently placed a hand on Blazestorm's shoulder, giving it a reassuring squeeze and then, without thinking, pulling her into a gentle embrace. "You're only different because you a special," he said. "Primus and Spiritimus both know why you're like this. You may be an experiment of the Decepticons, but inside you're an Autobot child that just needs a little guidance and some discipline. Without them, who knows where you might be now."

In a manner of effort and shock, it didn't take Alexis exactly long to reach the named cliff. Her days back in school track had finally paid off. Reaching a good distance to where her voice finally mattered, she halted, pushed her weight to her knees and gave a few breaths, then shouted, "Hey! Ultra Magnus! Ultra Magnus!!" One arm holding itself on her knee, she waved the other in the air to signal her position.

Ultra Magnus turned his head when he heard someone calling out his name. When he spotted Alexis, he quickly released Blazestorm from his comforting embrace and shifted his golden optics over to the girl. He was a little annoyed that she had nearly seen him doing something that was completely out of character for him or for anyone else. Sighing, he gently petted Blazestorm on the back in a friendly manner and turned his attention to Alexis. "What is it, human?" he grumbled. "Can't you see that I was busy before you decided to climb all this way just to find me?" He only growled in annoyance and shook his head. "What is it that you want?"
Blazestorm decided to wisely return to her curled up position, she was in far too much distress to even bother listening to the conversation between Ultra Magnus and the human. What right did she have to butt in anyway?

Taking the time to walk alittle closer to where she didn't have to shout, Alexis turned her head to Blazestorm for a quick second, then back to Ultra Magnus. "Optimus really wishes to see you. He knows you've avoided him since his entry back to the base, but he has something important he wishes to discuss, rather than simple hellos." She held one arm to her chest and the other at her side, like she use to do in a thoughtful manner way back when. She couldn't remember the large dragon clearly, the only thing she knew for certain is that she was the more...childish of the United Heros. And that her being away from the others was simply her personality. It took Alexis no shock to see her out here. But spotting Ultra Magnus even bothering connecting with another transformer without it being Rodimus, now that was a small shock to the human. But she didn't express it. She simply waited the lighter colored mech to reply to his brothers' call.

Ultra Magnus frowned a little bit. He did remember he had closed off the link between himself and his twin. And it was for a good reason. He had too much to think about, and had to avoid him for as long as possible. He should've known better that his brother would get suspicious as to why he was doing it. Then again, who didn't? He'd been away for quite awhile since the battle had ended and no one had bothered to even notice up until now. He had his reasons for needing time to himself, and he knew that it was time to go and face his brother. It could've happened sooner or later and this couldn't have been at a better time. "Alright," he finally said after a few moments of silence, "I'll go. But I suppose while I'm gone, I'll take it that you'll try to talk some sense into the kid here?" He motioned to Blazestorm. "She's completely unhappy and I only got through just a little. But since you're so good at talking to someone, I was hoping you would do so. You're more experienced than I am."

A perk in Alexis's senses showed to her emotion, being asked a smallest favor of the larger mech. Nodding lightly, she very happily accepted. "Of course. I'll do my best." A small, shy small placed upon her face, Alexis approached the dragon as Ultra Magnus did the very opposite. Sitting on the cliff side, she made herself comfortable and sat, huddling her knees to her chest and watching the small sunset. "Blazestorm, was it?" she asked quietly, getting the introductions over with.

With his words now said, Ultra Magnus watched for a moment in case anything happened. Knowing Blazestorm, she wouldn't hesitate to turn on someone when they pressed the right kind of button. But, since he knew Alexis more, he had a feeling that she may get through to the young femme in a matter of moments. Once he was sure that things were settled, he took a step back to the edge of the cliff, turned, and then leapt off as silent as a ghost. He always had a habit of disappearing without being noticed, and it was something he was particularly proud of himself with it anyway.
Now that Ultra Magnus was gone, due to sensing his movement with her acute sense of hearing, Blazestorm removed her head from her legs and glanced down at the human that had asked her if her name was 'Blazestorm'. She couldn't help but snort in disgust at the attempt of friendship from the human, but she decided to give her a small chance. "What else were you expecting," she growled, "Firestorm or just Storm?" The red and silver femme twitched her tail, growling under her breath as her blue optics settled onto the human's, but refusing to make eye contact with her. Making eye contact with someone new was... nerve-reeking for her and she wasn't going to take any chances.

A slight frown managed to twitch at Alexis's side, but she didn't let it take over. She fought it back with a simple smile that showed nothing but kindness, rather the dragon femme could see it or not. "I may not know much about the United Heros, but if Spiritimus is like Optimus, she accepts you for who you are you know..." Resting her head that laid at her knees now, a blunt expression then decided to take its' figure on her pale face. It was as if the sunset had her tranced. "If you were any different, I doubt that she would have carried you along all these years. What is a person- or bot- without any flaws?"

Blazestorm regarded the human coldly, her blue optics squinting to tiny slits that nearly became invisible to the naked human eye. What did the human know that she didn't? She had experienced far too many battles, and the human could not be any different than those that had made her who she was. "I only know she did it because she felt sympathy for me," she admitted, but her tone was low, "something that I did not want anyway." The young femme twitched her tail unthinkably. She couldn't help but bury her head back into her knees and pulling herself closer to her frame. She had never felt so afraid in her entire life. She very much wished she had not been created in the first place nor had met the rest of the United Heroes. What right did she have to meet them in the first place and create such havoc for them and their leader? When Alexis had spoken again under her breath, she refused to take her head out of her legs. She thought over her words carefully until she finally looked up and when she did, her cheeks had faint tear streaks running down from her optics. "Normal," she said somberly. "You know that I am not normal just as well as I do. I am not like the others. They were not created by their enemies, and they do not have a mind that is similiar to that of a little kid. What kind of femme am I?" In her frustration and anger, Blazestorm slammed a fist down hard in the ground, leaving behind a small crater in her wake. Sobs of confusion escaped her lips, but she paid no heed to what was going on around her. "I'm... I'm a freak," she whispered quietly to herself.

Alexis could only watch the dragon fret in anger and despair. The frown now overcoming that smile that was long ago, she couldn't do much, not even the gentle human motion of placing the hand on the shoulder, as the mechs' own was beyond her reach. "Not true... You may think that, but not true. Just because you were created as a Decepticon, it doesn't give you any less will of being what you want to be. I knew a 'Con who had a very soft heart one upon a time..." Alexis brought up, her hand slowly reaching to her necklace as she gave a light smile of memories, which easily turned into a sigh. "He'd be on our very team... if it wasn't for Megatron. I know it. And you can do the very same. The Decepticons have no leash around your neck Blazestorm, so don't let them tug... You're an Autobot now, and everyone knows and respects that..." She gazed at the femme, noticing her concentration of avoiding making eye contact. Practically hopeless, the human then turned back at the beautiful scenery that laid before her. The sun had made a crescent now, causing the below forest to glow with a passion. She remembered the last and first time she was at these cliffs. The very day her reality was snapped, hopes lost for the 'Con she had mentioned earlier. But then there came hope again...until Unicron destroyed everything, and then bothered to rebuilt, everything. She wasn't quite sure why, but at the feeling of the small tear that managed to squeeze its' way through, she almost jumped trying to wipe it away before Blazestorm noticed. What good would her words be if she was sitting there, cracking up herself?

Blazestorm could only release a deep breath of frustration and glanced down at the human once again, but still refusing to make eye contact. She didn't even bother to notice the tears that were pouring down her eyes. She didn't understand emotions, not even a human's. It was all confusing and frustrating to the point where it made the femme want to explode and kill something or someone. The negative emotions would build and build until it decided that it needed to be released... upon the ones she had come to know as a family. "What makes you think I am any different to your... friend...?" she questioned. "He does not look, act, or even think like me, and I bet anything he does not have the mind of... a human child. My companions only respect me because Spiritimus told them to not push the right buttons that sets me off. She probably only did it just to prevent me from killing them. Deep down, I will always be a freak and be nothing more..." The red and silver femme wrapped her tail even further around her talons. She could not help but feel ashamed for what she had done, and even feel depressed after the slightly harsh punishment she had recieved from Purus. His own words pierced her soul like a dagger cutting through slick butter. She could still remember his own words that echoed through her head like a hollow canyon. 'Look what you have done, Blaze! Because of your stupid actions, Spiritimus is different! Now she'll never be same without the help of her father! And, the fact is that you were so determined to prove yourself, you have cost us valuable time and effort to find what we were looking for!' She had tried not to pay any attention to those words. She had stood there like a statue, absorbing every cursive word that Purus and Fenix had thrown at her to the best of her abilities. Her face had become unreadable and her posture unmoving at all. It was as if Unicron himself had sucked her very soul out and had taken away all that she had been given by those that she had come to trust. Then... she had snapped. In her frustration and her sheer anger that had been growing with each word that Purus had said, Blazestorm had rushed at the weapons specialist and had gotten into a serious fight where she fought like a desperate demon that no longer had the optics of pure soul blue, but of blood red that was as menacing as Nephthys's and Megatron's combined. The two fought, but Purus had turned to fighting for his life as Blazestorm continued her furious assault. If it had not been for the quick reflexes of Leohawk, Purus would've been dead on the spot. Blazestorm couldn't help but shiver at the memory. She felt her armour rattle loudly, but she didn't care if Alexis had heard her or not. All she wanted was comfort, and the memories had no effect on her whatsoever. What was the use in life? She was freak, and Purus and Fenix had agreed with her by saying those words to her that had affected her for the rest of the year. It was a harsh and terrible time for her and the only thing that seemed to be the solution to her problems was... suicide... But was it the answer she was looking for? Would death really bring her peace and happiness? She wasn't sure, and she decided against the idea for good reasons.
