A Sidewalk of Questions

[Starscream]

Hands in his pockets, Ryan walked cautiously among the sidewalk of his very home, or so near by it. The popular neighborhood streak, where most of the people lived who ran among his childhood - this included Alexis, Rad, and Kicker. Carlos had moved elsewhere to help his transportation to the base on Mars, and Coby and his brother Bud lived on the other side of town. Lori had gone to her home state, but occasionally visited. It was nice to see familiar faces - most of the time.
Waiting at a stoplight signal to provide him with the safety of running across the pavement without becoming a squished frog, Ryan took one hand and rumbled the cross-size scar on his cheek. How he remembered how he got it in the first place, that silly fight with Rad. Highschool had treated them naturally.
As he caught the sight of the blinking white hand, motioning him to leap, he walked across the road and made it to the new sidewalk- the sidewalk that belonged to Alexis's houseway.
What would her reaction be- he pondered. She hadn't stopped by the base in years, yet she never forgets about them and questions their company. Maybe- just maybe, he could finally get her to take a day off her job, and visit Optimus Prime.

The house was as it was always, a light pink/yellow tint with blue railed window seals. Similar apperance of her parents house. Smiling, he went up to the door and took a breath before ringing the door bell- which was always followed by...
"Just a second!"
"As always" Ryan slightly laughed, awaiting at the door until the slender, dark-headed girl opened it to his glory.
"Ryan? What are you doing here, a bit unusual for you to come during the week" Alexis smiled.
"Yeah, I know. But I got some amazing news- and its' not the broadcast kind either" Ryan replied, giving the obvious outburst that it was about their robot friends.
"Oh? Whats' up?" she questioned, her expression now downfolded.
"Well, I can't tell you unless you can take the day off tomorrow. So you can stay the night, ya' know?" Ryan smiled, a slight tilt of the head.
"Oooh, but Ryan! You know I can't just leave work! Those idiots can't fill in absents for the life of them..." Alexis mumbled, motioning a slight face palm.
"Trust me, you'll want to catch up with the rest of the gang."
It took her a moment, almost sleepy-like eyes staring back into the boys' black orbs. But what could it hurt...one day wouldn't kill her. Sighing, she gave in.
"Fine. Let me go pack a few things and call in. This better be good, Ryan" she gave a teasing smile, then motioned him to come in. Ryan accepted the curtiousy, and shut the door, walking lazily to the couch by the open-blind windows and plopping down, awaiting his friends' packing.

Faye let his florescent blue eyes gaze around the suburban area. It was like something out of a movie, homes everywhere, like the step ford wife's or something similar. But the people in these homes obviously lead more realistic lives. Save for the few children that know of the transformers, among other things.

"Hmm..." Faye murmured out lightly, for no reason in particular but he did so all the same. As he walked down the sidewalk, his black boots padded contently on the cement, makeing a slight thump sound as they did so.
"Ugh were is that boy." Faye let out words once more, a slight grumble this time and he stomped a bit with his left boot clad foot. "Well no matter if he's in his home wherever that is he'll have to come out sometime and I'm bound to spot him." Oh Faye didn't have time on his hands and if push came to shove he would find another way to find the boy, get close to him and get in good with those autobots. Bleh autobots, the very thought of them, made Faye's pale angelic face turn to a more sour look. Shaking his head, and letting his spiky dark blue locks of hair fall in his face some, he started to look around again.

Continuing that heavy walking of his, often he carried himself in a manner that just seemed like he was above everybody else. Or at the least these humans. Obviously he was a higher form of life, in enhanced human of sorts. Not quite a robot or human, better then both, capable of far greater things. Being here so long rather then on the moon though had gave him a better understanding of the race here. He learned to change his personalty when need be, act like he cared for people. When in reality he could have cared less, more so at all.

So Faye would find Ryan, stop at nothing to even. Act like he cared about the boy, so much so that not even people that knew him could tell the difference. That was what he was built for, and if he couldn't do that, then he himself would know he was worthless. But that word, worthless, wasn't even in his vocabulary. He was just better.

He could do this it would be an easy mission, simple as that.

It wasn't long before Ryan and Alexis stepped out of the house, the dark red-head checking her door to make sure it was locked, unaware of the watcher of her friend.
"Okay" she grinned, turning around to Ryan with a medium size bag over her shoulder like a large backpack. "I'm ready. Lets' go visit the crazies."
Ryan simply nodded, a light-heart smile plotted on his face. It was nice to see his friend of so long to actually get out of the house when not called for a work meeting for once.
Hands back in pockets, he walked aside Alexis, unknown that he was being followed.
"Its' been pretty drastic around the base lately, so if they seem a bit silent, kinda best not to ask questions right away" Ryan laughed slightly. A small expression of doubt reached Alexis's lips.
"Drastic?"
"Nothing that serious. Don't worry about it, okay? I promise the visit will be worth it!"

Faye had finally spotted the familiar boy, along with a girl that was rather unknown to the likes of him. But he didn't want to come across as some sort of stalker, because most human's from his expertise would often be frightened by such. So he decided to stay put and 'conveniently' notice Ryan when the two passed by him. He would have smirked a bit at his own plan, had they not drawn closer his way. So he merely leaned up against a tall lithe tree, that graced the edges of the sidewalk, letting it's branches loom over for mentioned sidewalk.

His eyes were adverted away from Ryan and the girl, and he pulled out a cell phone from his black pant's pocket. He never needed such a thing, but it was always a good cover up to have one, so he could advert your gaze away from people so not to draw suspicion.

By the time the two got close enough to hopefully notice him, that's when he he decided to say something. Having every word planed out in advance, he would surely have to act as if he didn't though. Peeling his eyes away from his phone in a conveniencing way with a light sigh, he looked there way. Letting a shocked yet excited expression play on his face.

"Oh wow Ryan! Hey you!" Faye let a smile slowly linger and dance on his lips. His plan was simple, if Ryan asked what he was doing in this area, he would say he had called a friend to plan on meeting them, and they lived near by, but they had bailed on him. Then tell him that he had been looking for Ryan, so he would promptly say that it must have been luck that his friend did bail out on there plans. All this while holding the phone in his hand as if to back up his story.

Oh how Faye would consider himself a genius.

"It's pretty crazy seeing you here, came to this area for a good buddy of mine, and he bailed. So wow this is just some good luck. Haha. I've been looking for you though, silly me lost that number of yours." Faye let out a small believe laugh, twirling the phone in his hand for a moment, before shutting it and putting it in his pocket.

Reaching the distance among Faye, it took Ryan a short while to notice his friend from the festival. As he concluded his story, the boy could only laugh and smile back to his lie.
"Hey! Thats' alright, me and my friend Alexis here, we're getting ready to go somewhere from our childhood" he placed a hand behind his neck as if thinking about what he was going to ask. "Sucks they bailed on you. You need better friends like this girl" he tossed his thumb to Alexis. Her expression was a simple gasp and glare at Ryan, as if she wanted to strangle him whole, all the meanwhile yelling Wha?!.
Looking back at Faye, Ryan placed his hands back in his pockets then shrugged as if saying what could hurt. "If you're into robots and stuff...I think you'd like it there, where we're going. But you gotta keep it a secret."
Alexis practically glared daggers at her mindless friend. Pulling him very close, she angerly whispered to his ear, "What do you think you're doing, leading more people to the base! Hotshot doesn't take too kindly to publicity you know that!"
"It'll be fine, I promiseee" Ryan waved her off, as if there was no consequence at all.

Prowl landed on the roof of a nearby building silently, camouflaged almost to invisibility. He had watched the humans for a while, wondering how they knew of any Autobots here. "Either way, I need to figure out it's location." he murmured, waiting for them to make a move.

[Darkclaw]

“Ah well he isn’t one of the greatest friends so it’s okay heh. As for having a friend there like yours, she has a kind looking face so I could only assume your right.” Faye smiled and let out a bit of a laugh, looking at the two of them. “Oh man am I!” Faye eagerly spoke out, pumping his fists in the air, before speaking again.

“And I can, trust me I’ve kept some pretty big secrets before.” Oh if only they knew what kind. “Oh and it’s nice to meet you by the way Alexis, I’m Faye.”

[Starscream]

Ryans' grin only widen as Faye accepted the offer to come back with them to the Autobot base. But as he received a punch in the shoulder from his female accomplice, he only winced then went back to the stupid grin.
"Nice to meet you aswell, Faye..." Alexis then encouraged, stretching an arm to shake hands with the new. Looking at his eyes, it gave her a shiver down her spine, a nasty aura coming from such. But she had always lived by the motto of not judging one by its' cover, that everyone got a chance. Everyone, rather human or not.

Prowl continued watching, he could sense the girl, Alexis, maybe?, did not seem to like their new acquaintance. "Well, I was told to protect all life..." he murmured, continuing to watch them.

[Darkclaw]

Faye extended his hand outward to reach Alexis hand, shaking it promptly. “So what’s this place like were heading too? Like what kinda robots and all?!” Faye sounded eager, his voice excited and enthralled at the same time. “Heh and sorry if I get too excited, it’s just anything involving robots, well that’s pretty much my passion there.” Faye spoke out once more, starching his head a bit, and bowing it down in a slightly bashful silly manner. “I guess you can say ever since I was little I’ve always been a big kid at heart.” Faye smiled at the two, raising his head up, and shifting his stance a bit.

As Alexis's arms met her sides again, she couldn't help but continue her worry behind her back. Ryan, was thinking elsewise.
"Well, I can't tell you much here, but trust me, I can give you the grand tour once we get there!" he happily nodded, a slight laugh escaping his manner as Faye mentioned being a rather large kid. Looking back at Alexis, he gave one of his signature grins, the childhood in him getting the best side now.
"Come on Alexis, lets' get going!" He took hold of her hand and began a fast-pacing walk down the sidewalk, in direction of what looked like lost canyons and rock structures.

Faye let his hands slide into his long black leather coat pockets. “Hah okay sounds good to me, I can’t wait!” Faye replied back, quickly following after the two soon after like a lost puppy dog. Obviously he wasn’t anything of the sort if you knew him, but he would play the part of somebody that the autobots and these humans would like. As he was following them he was sure to take in his surroundings remembering them as perfect as he could. Ah oh how Faye wanted to gloat about how smart he was, and just how brilliant his plan was, but he would save all that for later.

Prowl could sense something about the blue-haired human, something...malicious? He wasn't sure, but now he knew for certain they were going to the Autobot base. "Just where I need to be."

[Starscream]

It wasn't long before Ryan got the sense of someone following them- someone they hadn't invited. Stopping in his tracks, he looked over the small pit of trees they reached, halfway to the base and parted from the city.
"Um...Hello?"
"Who are you talking to?" Alexis questioned, raising a brow in confusion.
"Someone else is following us..." Ryan muttered, getting slightly worried. He looked at Faye, then his surroundings. Nothing.

Prowl ducked behind the building. He hated camouflaging himself, but he didn't want that half-human to know he was there.
