Reaching the doors, Sideswipe quickly placed Shadowflux upon one of the seven medical beds that were acessable. Once that was done, he moved Ryan from his shoulder and onto the transformer-sized table that sat beside the named bed. "Is he going to be okay?" the human perked. Moving wires and plugging up bandages over the metal gashes, Sideswipe only looked at Ryan with worried optics. He was no medbot, but he knew the basics of how to activate the energon healing system. It may not heal everything, but it got the job done enough to where real-time healing was possible.

Hotshot glanced down at Shadowflux, worry in his optics. But when Ryan spoke up, he felt uneasiness settle into his mind. He wasn't very good at offering words of comfort, but at least he would be able to ease some of the tension that was building up in the room. "I don't know, Ryan," he admitted. "He could be in stasis for a little while, but Sideswipe will do all that he can to help make him feel more comfortable so that the healing process can go a little faster." He rubbed the back of his neck. He really wished that Optimus was here to take away everyone's worry. If he was here, he would do everything he could to make everyone feel much better by offering comforting words that would strengthen everything. "If Optimus was here, he would mostly blame himself for what has happened to Shadowflux. Spiritimus would as well, but that wouldn't stop them from trying to take away our pain and unhappiness."

Cypher Groaned a bit, seeming to be having a nightmare. He briefly opened his optics, seeing the medbay. "nooo" he said weakly before going back to sleep

Tracker had finally found the medbay, he hadn't been looking for too long fortunately. "and here we are. hello" he said to the bots there just to be polite. Not wanting to keep Optimus up any more he placed him down on one of the medical beds. "I'm Tracker, if theres anything i can do to help just say, i have some experience with repairers"

Nightwise chirped warily from its perch on one of the counters. Talon hadn't arrived yet and it was getting increasingly worried about its creator. Claws gently clicked along the smooth metal surface as it paced back and forth, head swerving around a full 360 degrees. It kept its large orange optics trained on the med bay entrance with a hopeful expression.
Several more patients were admitted and placed on medical berths, including Optimus himself. But no silver grey femme. Meekly, the tiny mechanical owl dropped its wings and stopped all other moments entirely. The perfect picture of despair in a very small package.

Sideswipe looked toward the entry of Tracker, only to see a sight for sore eyes. "O-Optimus?!" he exclaimed. Making sure that Shadowflux was aided well, he quickly moved over to the bedspread in which his old commander rested. "I..I can't believe it, it really is him!" Optics glistening, he looked over to Hotshot, then back at the blue and red mech. Optimus... "Wow..Optimus... where have you been...?" he mumered. Ryan continued to sit in confusement. So much had happened that one day. And now the legendary Optimus Prime was back? It was like the beginning of a new dawn, yet the creation of a new war. How life was so complicated.

Optimus blinked his golden optics. The agony in his joints was almost unbearable, but he was glad that it was only temporary. He didn't know how to explain it, but the wonders of being surrounded by familiar faces caused his Spark to flutter in excitement. But that excitement was chased away as it was replaced by sheer pain. However, he managed to fight it off by wincing and biting his bottom lip to prevent a scream from escaping his mouth. "I... I've been better, Sideswipe," he managed to gasp. He then gently took a hold of Sideswipe's and Hotshot's hands in each of his own just to show that they were not dreaming. His fatherly smile pressed against his lips before he was forced to let go due to the unbearable pain that was seething through his body. His dim golden optics shifted over to Tracker and he allowed a small smile to escape his lips. "If it weren't for Tracker here, I would still be floating by Mars. He saved my life by bringing me back here by my request." He sat up, his body trembling in deep agony as it protested. He didn't want to lie down. Not now! He was in too much of in deep desire to see his daughter. It had been only a year and he had missed her terribly down to the core of his Spark. "I... I heard from Spirit that... Megatron came. Is it all true?"
Hotshot blinked his optics. He just couldn't believe that Optimus was finally home. He thought it was all a dream and that it would all wither away right before his optics. But when Optimus gently took a hold of his hand and gave it its familiar, gentle squeeze that still had its sheer strength behind it, he soon realised that it was not a dream at all. "You've... you've come home," he whispered. He tried not to cry, but his baby blue optics twinkled with tears that leaked from the corners. Within moment, he wrapped his arms around Optimus's neck in an emotional hug. "I'm so glad to see you again!" he cried.

Nightwise, despite not having a spark, still felt the emotions of its larger friends just as it did Talon. Whistling softly, the tiny bird flitted over and landed lightly on Sideswipe's shoulder, gazing down at the Prime with a look that matched those around it. Caring and concerned at the same time.

Scavenger immediately caught sight of the bright red armor that belonged to his former and still highly respected student turned Prime. He allowed Hotshot to have his moment with Optimus before he slowly stepped up to the berth, a massive hand laying down on Optimus' unwounded shoulder with surprising gentleness.
"What happened, sir?" he asked with a few hints of sadness, "We weren't sure if we'd ever find you."

Tracker watched the reunion, glad that he could of helped. though he was still concered about Prime damages "i don't mean to interupt, but if i could just patch up some of primes wounds. you can still talk." he turned to prime, "i know you want to see your daughter, but you need to take it easy, your not in the best condidtion." he gently layed him back down again, and proceeded on working on some of the damages prime sustained, hopefully making him more comfortable. while staying out of the way of the bots greeting prime.

Sideswipe nodded to Tracker, thankful for the helping aide of another second-hand medical bot. Knowing Optimus was more than safe, he walked over to Talon's limp form and began to plug up her circuts to the main energon flow. "Primus still says you have a purpose..." he chuckled lightly as he secured the wiring and began the healing process.

Optimus was far too tired to protest against Tracker's attempt to repair him. However, he was very surprised when Hotshot embraced him in a loving manner that reminded him of when he too had hugged Spiritimus when she was still a sparkling. He could not help but gently bury his head into Hotshot's neck, allowing him to sob into his neck for as long as he wanted. "It's alright, Hotshot," he whispered gently, "I'm home now, and that's all that matters. Doesn't it?"
Hotshot nodded and he pulled away, but he was shocked when Optimus removed a tear from his optics. He quickly wiped away the rest and stood back. He didn't mean to feel annoyed when Scavenger started asking about what had happened, but he felt the sudden need to tell the old bot to knock it off and leave Optimus be to rest. "Give it a rest, would you, grandpa!" he snapped. "Optimus isn't in the right condition to be answering questions. Heck, only Spiritimus Prime, Leohawk, and Starblaze know what had happened to him and where he had been all of this time." He blinked his optics when he realised that he had committed a wrong. "I'm... I'm sorry, Scavenger... I didn't mean to snap at you." He glanced away, avoiding Scavenger's gaze when he felt his optics settle onto him.
Optimus winced a little as Tracker worked on his injuries. He was grateful for his help, but he couldn't help but worry even more. He had not seen her in a long time nor had he even touched her since he had sensed her through their bond that they shared together. It was truly a unique bond. Something that existed only between a certain parent and their sparkling that was very rare amongst the Autobot kind. It was a love that was strengthened as time went by, even if they were so far apart from each other. "I may be badly injured, Tracker, but I can still ask questions that must be answered as soon as possible." He allowed his gentle gaze to shift from one Autobot to the next, his infinite wisdom shining through his optics at a fine rate. He may not be able to fight for a while, but he could still offer whatever anyone wanted to hear from him. He could give them hope, he could give them courage, and he could give them promises that he would still be able to keep. "I know that you want me to answer you main question: where have I been all this time? But, as Tracker said, I am only fit enough to only ask questions. I am weak at the moment, and I must soon go into stasis lock to rest up."

Tracker smile slightly "i wouldn't expect not to ask questions, you need to know what has happened, i understand. but try to relax." Tracker had put a patch on the main damage, to prevent any more damage. he focused on the other wounds.

Reno and Jetfire, who had been watching silently from a distance away, came forward as Optimus's gaze fell upon them. Reno's good eye was intense, but concerned, while Jetfire's were determined. "Whatever you need, Commander, we're here. All of us." Reno affirmed, a determined gleam sparking in her eye as well.
Moonshriek glided down to land next to Optimus's head, leaving enough distance to still be comfortable. Her eyes were unreadable, but for the longest time she didn't speak. She blinked, then looked to Jetfire. "He's your Commander? I'm meeting a legend, aren't I?" she asked, looking back to Optimus and smiling. She hopped from the berth to the green jet's shoulder, looking back down at the Autobot Commander. Her expression was still unreadable as her eyes seemed to look straight through him.

Rodimus felt uncomfortable with Moonshiek leaving him, but he knew that he couldn't order her to stick close to him. He was not her leader, but she was his responsibility, no matter how much she might deny that possbility. He smiled as she asked her innocent question like a sparkling would ask its creator. "Yeah, he's the legend alright," he said as he chuckled. "The legend that has existed for millions of years." Someone that you have to follow in their footsteps if you're me or Spiritimus.
A weakened cough startled everyone as Spiritimus started to come out of her stasis lock. Her tail gave off a massive lash in a similiar way to a whip cracking the air and her claws scraped the berth and her lips formed into a snarl as she bared her teeth. It was as though she was experiencing a terrible nightmare that was plaguing her mind.
Rodimus reacted faster than anyone could've done. In a swift flurry of metal and cloak, he was upon her. He grabbed her legs and wings to prevent her from hurting herself and causing anymore damage to those around her. "Spirit!" he cried, trying to snap her out of her waking nightmare. "Wake up! It's me, Roddy!" He winced in pain as Spiritimus's daggerlike tail jabbed into his shoulder, but he kept a firm but gentle grip on her legs and wings. "Spirit!" he cried again. When she did not awaken and kept on fighting, the flamed mech shot a glance over to Sideswipe and Hotshot in a mental attempt to ask for help. He couldn't hold her down forever, and it would only be a matter of seconds before she would break free and damage property. "Please, guys, help me!" he begged.
Hotshot was the first to hurry over to his struggling friend. At the guidance and order of Rodimus, he gently took a hold of her legs. He was very surprised that she was much still able to fight back, despite her weakened condition and in her stasis lock. "What's wrong with her? Why is she acting like this?" he asked as he glanced over at Rodimus, who had moved over to Spiritimus's head and was gently holding it in another attempt to wake her up.
Only two knew the answer to that question, but they were absent from the room.
